Bernard RIP.
Died 9th of October 2021 peacefully at home following a short illness.
Dearly beloved husband of Anne and loving father to Marie, Claire, Craig, Gemma, Declan and Arosh and cherished grandfather to 15 grandchildren.
Much loved son of the late Emmett and Eileen, brother of Gerard, Catherine, Teda, Brendan, Martin and Gary.
Bernards Funeral Mass will be held on Monday 25th October at 1 pm at Sacred Heart RC Church Redcar followed by cremation.
Bernards Ashes will return to Ardglass for burial, following Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Saturday, 30th of October 2021 at Saint Nicholas’ Church, High Street, Ardglass.
Interment afterwards in adjoining Calvary cemetery.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

The family of the late Gerald FitzGerald RIP wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. We especially thank Father Brendan Smyth the Parish Priest and Father Paul Turley CSSR for celebrating the Requiem Mass as well as Kate Acton for the beautiful music. Thanks to his many friends including those from the “bridge world” and all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, who called to our home, attended the funeral Mass or helped in any way, also the staff of Killyleagh Health Centre and Seamus Fitzsimons (Kieran Fitzpatrick) for his efficient handling of the funeral.

The family of the late George Rice, who passed away on 8th September 2021 wish to offer their thanks to all those who sympathised and supported them in their recent bereavement. Thanks to all those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and attended the Funeral. Sincere thanks to Fr Gerry McCloskey for the beautiful Requiem Mass.
Special thank-you to Dr Murphy and the staff of Ardglass Surgery, the Downe hospital and to Sister Mary Peake and the staff of Kings Castle Ardglass who cared for daddy in his final days.
Thank- you to Ciaran Fitzpatrick and the staff of Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
A heartfelt thank you to all who paid their respects and stood along his funeral route and the Ardglass Golf Club for their Guard of Honour.
