The business has been carried on until now for over 40 years at 72 Scotch Street, Downpatrick by the late Seamus and his sister Helena.

As from 1st June 2012, this established family business will continue to provide the same attention to the community under the management of Ciaran Fitzpatrick of Peter Fitzpatrick & Sons Estate Agents, a well established business in the Down area.

The new premises at 24 English Street, Downpatrick offer a reception room where the family can arrange a funeral in private surroundings. The rest room can be used for the repose of the deceased prior to going home or to church.

Ciaran will be ably assisted by three of the present, very experienced staff members Ronnie, Pat and Robert.

Died 21st May 2018 peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Dearest son of the late Jack and Bridie Moore RIP.
Much loved brother of Geordie, Elaine, Kenny and the late Paul RIP.
Dearest Uncle of Rhiannon, Jack, Anna and Eoin and dear brother-in-law of Cathy and Sonya.
Terry’s remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors, 24 English St, Downpatrick
with the family in attendance on Tuesday 22nd May 2018 from 6pm to 8pm and Wednesday 23rd May from 6pm to 8pm.
Removal from the Funeral Home on Thursday 24th May 2018 at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Colmcille’s Church, Downpatrick followed by interment
in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Killough Road.
Very Deeply regretted by his entire family circle.

Died 21st May 2018 peacefully at Strangford Court Nursing Home.
Loving husband of Maureen and devoted father to Joanne Pirozzi, Sarah Thomas and Kevin and the late Noreen Donnelly, Mary Hyndman and Jean Ridgeway RIP.
Dearest brother of Noel, Jackie and Vourneen.
Seamus’ remains will leave his late residence, 8 Phennick Close, Ardglass on Wednesday 23rd May at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Nicholas’ Church, Ardglass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
Seamus will be sorrowfully missed and deeply regretted by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and the entire family circle.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
