The business has been carried on until now for over 40 years at 72 Scotch Street, Downpatrick by the late Seamus and his sister Helena.

As from 1st June 2012, this established family business will continue to provide the same attention to the community under the management of Ciaran Fitzpatrick of Peter Fitzpatrick & Sons Estate Agents, a well established business in the Down area.

The new premises at 24 English Street, Downpatrick offer a reception room where the family can arrange a funeral in private surroundings. The rest room can be used for the repose of the deceased prior to going home or to church.

Ciaran will be ably assisted by three of the present, very experienced staff members Ronnie, Pat and Robert.

Funeral from his late residence 15 Westlands Close Crossgar on Saturday 15th December 2018 at 9.30 am for 10.00 am Funeral Service in the Immaculate Conception and St Joseph Church, Crossgar. Interment afterwards in Struell cemetery.
Very deeply regretted by his entire family circle.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Owen and loving mother of Kevin, Mary and Sean. Dear mother in law of Lisa. Cherished grandmother to Thomas and Liam. Much loved sister of Marian and David.
Joys remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home, 24 English street Downpatrick, BT30 6AB, on Tuesday 11th December 2018 with the family in attendance between 6pm -8pm. Requiem Mass in Stella Maris Church Strangford on Wednesday 12th December at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in St Malachy’s cemetery Kilclief.
