The business has been carried on until now for over 40 years at 72 Scotch Street, Downpatrick by the late Seamus and his sister Helena.

As from 1st June 2012, this established family business will continue to provide the same attention to the community under the management of Ciaran Fitzpatrick of Peter Fitzpatrick & Sons Estate Agents, a well established business in the Down area.

The new premises at 24 English Street, Downpatrick offer a reception room where the family can arrange a funeral in private surroundings. The rest room can be used for the repose of the deceased prior to going home or to church.

Ciaran will be ably assisted by three of the present, very experienced staff members Ronnie, Pat and Robert.

Died 3rd August 2018 peacefully at Slieve Dhu Nursing Home.
Dearly beloved mother of May and cherished grandmother of Andrea and Natasha and her husband Luke.
Great grandmother of Ellie and Phoebe.
Kathleen’s remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home Downpatrick , BT30 6AB with the family in attendance between 6pm – 8pm on Monday 6th August 2018.
Requiem Mass in St Patricks and St Josephs Church Ballykinlar on Tuesday 7th August 2018 at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sean RIP.
Died 2nd August 2018 peacefully at the Downe Hospital.
Much loved son of the late May and Jack and dear brother of Danny, Maura, Kathleen, Michael, Ursula, Phoebe, Vincent, Helena and the late Jackie and Sheena.
Sean will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home 24 English Street Downpatrick, with the family in attendance between 6 pm - 8 pm on Friday 3rd August. Funeral Saturday 4th August at 11.00 am in St Marys Star of the Sea Church Killyleagh. Interment afterwards in St Marys cemetery Comber road.
Very deeply regretted by his entire family circle. Our lady of Knock pray for him. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
